Big 12 Basketball Tournament Schedule/Bracket

The Big 12 Basketball Tournament gets underway at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City tonight.  The Baylor Bears (21-13-1) hold the #1 seed in the tournament for the first time in school history after winning their first regular season conference title in more than 70 years.

Texas opens up tournament play on Thursday at 8:30 PM against Texas Tech.

Kansas State destroyed TCU 71-50.  Wildcats eliminate the Horned Frogs in the first round of the tourney for the fourth straight year.

The win earns K-State a matchup against the Baylor Bears on Thursday.

OU beats Iowa State, 79-73.

OU gets to face Kansas and will have a fair shot of beating them.

WVU-OSU should be a very good game tomorrow.

Well if they have to test negative for 7 consecutive days before to be eligible then why risk screwing that up? I'd rather make an NCAA tourney run than a Big12 tourney run.

Really sucks for Kansas. I must admit it would have been hard to beat them 3 times in one year however it would have been sweet if we did!

If two teams play and both teams test negative before playing, where is the harm?

I mean, why play the season if we're going to be so scared? Just pick 68 teams to play the tourney and be done with it. Hell, maybe we skip a few of those games, too.

I was thinking..... I’ve been following Texas basketball since the Abe Lemmons days. I do not believe we have EVER won our post season conference tournament.  We have a real shot here....

Correct me if I am wrong?
