BPI has them ranked at 40 and Bracketology has them in the first four out.
I’d have to agree with Bracketology right now, though the trend is up and we’ll make it if we keep performing as we are now

That was before the Georgia game so hopefully we'll move up. The loss to Miss St at home is a bad loss however aggy will be ranked soon as they currently lead the $ec. We have to win at home and steal a road victory here and there to make the bracket.

Horns win big at home vs Georgia, 87-67!

It was a tale of 2 halves. At half Georgia held a 37-30 lead however the Horns came out smoking to eventually take the lead and expand it to 23 I believe at one point. Of course, it doesn't hurt when you're shooting ~70% from the field during the 2nd half!

Swain led the Horns with 26 and Mark added 23. The defense also held the nation's leading scoring team to 67 total points, their lowest total of the season!

Next game is on the road at Auburn. 🤘
But the 1st half was brutal watching the guys telegraph their passes and the turnovers as a result.

Texas takes on Aubun, on the road on Wednesday night at Auburn Arena at 6 p.m.

Auburn is fresh off a 76-67 win over #17 Florida last Saturday. They are now 13-7 (4-3 in SEC).

Texas loses to Auburn 88-82, after Tigers overcame 1st half deficit.

The fouls are just ridiculous. We had 25 PF tonight.

The refs called the 2nd half a lot tighter than the 1st. Some of the calls, on both teams, were iffy. Be that said, we had the chance to steal one on the road and we didn't. It doesn't help when 2 of your shooters, Mark and Pope, are cold. It was good to see Heidi play well. I wish they would have fed him more since he was hot from the field.

Heidi is probably my favorite on the team.
I like Heidi also, we need his 3pt shooting.

I lean towards Weaver for my favorite, young man plays in 5th gear the whole game. He does the little things that don't always show up in the box score.

I like Heidi, but he's a one trick pony – the three. And thats why we acquired him. So far, he has fulfilled that role for the most part.

Weaver is the glue that holds it all together. Just does it all.

Swain has become a star. In the loss to Auburn, he led the team in scoring, led the team in rebounds, and led the team in assists. He played fearless.

Texas beats ou in norman, 79-69. Early in the game, the Horns were down by 14. In the 2nd half, the Horns took their 1st lead with about 15 mins to go. It went back and forth until around 5 mins to go and that's when the Horns pulled away.

5 Horns scored in double figures led by Swain (20) and Heidi (13). Heidi was 5 of 6 from the floor and 3 of 4 from behind the arc. Minus his 4 PFs, he played a great game. The Horns shot 61% from the court with only Pope (4 of 9) and Mark (2 of 6) shooting below 50%.

Next up, S Carolina in Austin on Feb 3rd. 🤘
