Texas loses by 1 due to Mark falling down while trying to take the last shot. We were up by 10 at one point in the second half but couldn't hold the lead.

We had our chances to win but didn't. The officiating was horrible, especially the black ref with hair. Several questionable calls and fouls he had a part in. Hopefully we never see this crew again.

Agree with the officiating. ASU's hotshot point guard ate our lunch. This was self-inflicted IMO because we had Heidi guarding him (or trying to) when we should have put Chandler on him.

The officiating, the call after call after call, kept us from gaining momentum offensively.

Texas eclipsed the 100 pt mark last night, 75 of those points coming in the paint, to easily beat Chaminade in the second round of the Maui tournament.

Tonight's game:

8:30 p.m. CT
Lahaina Civic Center (2,400) - Maui, Hawaii
ESPN2
Line: N.C. State -3.5

I watched most of this game. The me. Were fun to watch. MV needs some seasoning but will be very good one day.
Yes, very entertaining game to watch! I must admit I was a little worried when Texas gave up the lead 71-70 but then they reeled off 10 straight points to take control. The officiating was much better last night. The only call that was suspect was the 5th foul on MV, he was nowhere close to the shooter! BTW, I agree with your assessment of him.

The lady’s team took down a quality opponent in #3, UCLA. Next up is #2 S Carolina.
Texas had a 23 point lead at one time in the 3rd and UCLA got it down to 4. Glad the ladies stepped up and put it away. Harmon was definitely the MVP of that game! S Carolina will be a test for sure!

Miami's HC is an ex-Texas player (J Lucas) and Ole Miss's HC is Beard, so I went against the conference last night and rooted for Miami.

Yeah, last night was a good old fashion arse kicking by Virgina! 🤕
I've seen this team play four times now. The first three were fun / highly entertaining games to watch. Even the loss. The fourth (yesterday) was like getting kicked in the shorts repeatedly! What in the wide wide world of sports was that?

I'll be optimistic and suggest that yesterday was an outlier? I sure hope so because that dog ain't gunna hunt!
