Patterson was the worst thing to ever happen to Longhorn sports. I’m not sure where he went, but I’m sure they sucked immediately after.
Whoever hired that POS should be held responsible.
So glad we got an AD now that knows what the hell he is doing.

As I remember it, enough powers-that-be wanted to let go of Mack Brown and so they hired hatchet man Steve Patterson to do it. Only the out of control hatchet man started chopping down the whole damn tree and did a lot of damage before they got rid of him.

Mack needed to go. He had gotten lazy for lack of a better term. It really sucks that the higher ups couldn't do it without hiring Patterson.

Kentucky doesn't care about anything other than wins. They hired Calipari while Memphis was under NCAA investigation and eventually placed on three years probation for Derrick Rose's SAT test. All Memphis' wins for Derrick Rose's seasons were vacated.

He made the NC final game with Tech and lost to Virginia. He improved Texas the short time he was here. He took over Ole Miss who went 12-21 the year before and improved their record to 20-12. For someone who hates Pierce to be judged by one year, why are you doing it to Beard?

That's not what you stated though and you have mentioned the lack of making the playoffs this season before regarding Beard. Be that said, I get it you don't like Beard. Besides, do you really think Kentucky cares about baggage after hiring Calipari?
