LMAO. Well played CB.The buzz is strong or with some Luck texas will shaka the cbb world!
Marquette head coach. Buzz Williams. Young guy, high energy, winner and excellent recruiter. He is a native Texan.
Also was a assistant at AM for 3 years.
He's basically turned Marquette back into a power program, with not much to work with.
I'm guessing you don't know much about Pastner, his dad, and the dirtiness. While I realize all of college bball is inherently dirty, Pastner is just too much. He's from Texas but more of a Arizona boy.Great info! I'm going to throw out another name....see what you all think. Josh Pastner....head coach at Memphis State.....grew up in Texas...took over for John Calipari when he went to Kentucky.
I'm not in the know about college basketball. I threw his name out based on his connections to The State of Texas and his winning record. But it makes sense that he did things the wrong way if he had Calipari as his role model.I'm guessing you don't know much about Pastner, his dad, and the dirtiness. Shaka would be fantastic here. Huge recruiting base, big budget, facilities, and most of all--NO PRESSURE.
But as I've said before, Shaka and Buzz are tied for 1st on my list. We couldn't do wrong with either. I'd also like Miller but he's at a "blue blood" of college basketball and isn't leaving.
Hell at this point, a coach from a 3A school would be an upgrade over Barnes.
