I thought I heard or read somwhere he may have a chance at a medical redshirt. Does this mean he is done for season and may come back next year? Or done with football completely?

My sons know him pretty well and say he is just a nice guy that never let anything go to his head, very humble. I hope he doesn't come back this year or next if he is at risk for further/permanent injury.

If the doctors release him, he has no shot at a medical redshirt. If the doctors don't release him, there is probably a pretty good chance at a redshirt I would think.

Some people can take much less brain scrambling than others. Not belittling DA, but I think he goes the way of Trey Newton. IT appears he cannot take the punishment. I know way back when... I could not take it as well as my brother. I have said for weeks on other sites that I think he is done with football.

Unfair comment by BigPhil or at least bad choice of words. Has nothing to do with "being able to take it" and everything to do with the severity of the initial head injury and the second if there was a second. Ash is obviously very tough from watching him play. I think the coaches wished he was less tough and that he had slid more.
