This is a group that will be led by Zane Gurwitz and Tres Barrera.. These two guys have been living in the weight room this off season.. When you have these two guys who are the leaders of the team, leading the way in the weight room.. then the rest just follow...

Kacy Clemens biggest contribution will be off the mound..

What kind of impact should we expect from the new baseballs?

Project.  Should he pan out, and if there's room on the roster, you would perhaps see him in 2016.  That's a big 'if' right now.  Pulling for the kid, but he's a pretty raw talent.

What kind of impact should we expect from the new baseballs?

10-15 feet.  Balls carry further.  I think you'll see higher AVG and Slugging percentage this year compared to the last couple.  Of course that will also be helped by the addition of some new power hitters in our lineup; Boswell & Cantu immediately come to mind.

No not bored but pleased the team gets a BYE week to rest up - heal up, watch extra film on TCU and get totally focused on beating the froggies next T-Day.  Yes I will miss that UT game on Sat. but I can still savour off that sweet road smack-down we just put on the 'pokes.  Re-watching the game a couple of times on LHN of what we did Sat., is just more impressive each time I see it. Granted osu is pretty mediocre... the team was laser focused, hit osu in the mouth on the first series and the D just flat kicked their asses all night. 

On the other hand the 10 or 11 days off will allow me to plug more into the UT basketball season and the Women's volleyball team.  After all, the bowl game will come and go and we need to plug into Rick Barnes runnin' Horns!!
