(SUNSHINE PUMPER) yes, i shall classify myself as such.. because for several months now, i have been studiously reading between the very intricate lines involving basically everything TEXAS.
when coach charlie strong was first hired upon the 40 acres, i shall be very honest here, and state that i was indeed extremely nervous for him. THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS, is an overwhelming powerhouse, and everyone knows this.
charlie strong, ventured into texas territory, and handled himself with the foremost grace, integrity, and the with the utmost skill upon media savvy. coach strong commenced to hiring his all important staffers. and the one thing
that i noticed at the very beginning with these new hires.. is that they seemed to form an instant team. i studied the head coaches body language upon his interviews. i also studied the body language as per the assistant coaches as well.
i listened extremely well to the remarks as per the prospective recruits that were brought in. and to date i'm still doing this. EVERYTHING JUST SEEMS TO FLOW LIKE WATER.
coach strong, is the kind of players coach, that just does not seem to have a problem getting his hands dirty. he just always seem to be right in the very mix of everything team wise.
i respect this new TEXAS head coach. i respect his new team of hired assistants. i also respect the TEAM FIRST concept that is being spread like wildfire across DKR.
do i believe that HAPPY DAYS are headed back to the land of the burnt orange sunset... PLEASE, CRANK UP THE VOLUME!
