You would think an investigation concerning the events of that day would have to include the one person responsible for Capitol security, its posture on that day, and why she refused help when it was available to her.

Otherwise, you really can't take anything they do seriously, particularly when the minority party wasn't allowed to choose their own members, which is unprecedented.
