This is one of the reasons I am selling my house in Austin and moving away. Tired of my hard earned money going to the Austin Independent School District and the City of Austin City Council.   This coming from someone born and raised in Austin.  

yep, I was born in St David's Hospital. My dad said I was born there so I could see Memorial Stadium.  Was reared in and around south Austin but will NEVER, EVER live there again.  This past weekend, a brother lived in Pflugerville (still in Travis county) and couldnt take it any longer.  He moved to Nederwald (near Buda and Lockhart).  Five siblings cousins grew up in Austin and NOT ONE lives there now.

I come from a family of 5 kids.  I am the last to leave Austin.  None of us plan to live in Austin again either.

We too moved out of Austin but not as far away as I would have liked but wife wanted to stay close to her family. As I've stated before, Austin went from the best city in Texas to a cesspool. 

I have friends and family who are LEOs of different gender and race. I worry about them a lot during these times. No way on hell would I do their job. Mad respect for them.

By ALOT. Nobody should be surprised though. Nobody could have watched him during the campaign and come away feeling like that’s the guy I want to be my next president.......of the greatest country in the world.
