This. Unfortunately the Longhorns will have to salvage what they can from this class and focus intently on 2015. Junior day is going to be bigger than most this year.was it simply not enough time to develop the relationship due to the official visit factor (at least in part)? On one hand, you have a kid who committed to Texas who now should be known more for D than before. On the other, he's a whole lot more familiar with the a&m coaches
ummm.... yeah I believe it is a coach's job to keep an elite defensive recruit on boardLot of people are going to blame CS for this, and that's not the case.
In your vast experience of doing so, please explain how a coach does that if they would rather be somewhere else.ummm.... yeah I believe it is a coach's job to keep an elite defensive recruit on board
If you want to blame Mack, blame President Powers. Powers is the one that didn't pull the trigger and fire Mack and allowed Mack to have the crazy notion that he could coach the 2014 team, therefore letting him continue to recruitCan't blame Strong for this, only had a couple meetings with Alaka. Relationships are key in recruiting. Also, Mack Brown really screwed Strong. Alaka had already used up his official visit to Texas under Brown during the end of the year banquet. if you are going to be mad at anyone it should be Mack Brown.
