a must win

my pleasure. the Light in the Wilderness. that's me.
Pretty sure that would NOT be how most online characterize you, but I like the New You.

were you impressed when they beat kentucky ? and i'd still say 4 in a row in this league is pretty good.
Hardly, Kentucky is average. 4 in a row is doable in this league when you are playing bad teams or ones that can't win on the road.

Kentucky is average? who is good in your world? the 1927 Yankees? Wooden's UCLA teams?

let's see. we beat Kansas and ISU and KSU here during our 7 game streak. that must mean they "can't win on the road." no, wait. they may be "bad teams."

got it.

I TRY to enlighten the OB idiots, but they do not listen.

Hey Sunshine Jim, great win! Eeked out a W in a close one.

Big win before they go on the road. Have to get this one to get some separation from OU. A win on Saturday puts Texas in the driver's seat for 2nd place. A loss probably drops them to 4th.

Little late on this conversation but I agree Kentucky is an average basketball team. They lost to Baylor, which is a bubble team. They lost to a bad Arkansas team tonight. Go look at Kentucky's schedule, they've only beat one team that's a lock in the tournament (Louisville and that was at Rupp). Kentucky's rep will get them a 5 or 6 seed, but they really deserve about a 8 to 10 seed. If Kentucky played in the Big 10 or Big 12, they might not even be a tournament team.

Rak and DJ were at the Baylor game

Your definition of average and mine are different. That's ok.
