Believe Wickline is at around $400k. Searles made $425k this year.

SignUp Now!Isn't Bostad an OC somewhere (Pitt maybe). I don't see him as considering a move back to OL coach.I'd take Bostad, Klemm, or Wickline.
I'd prefer Stidham over Kyler Murray.do you think with his success of his staff developing teddy bridgewater, could he possibly be able get Kyler Murray because of that accomplishment
Not a bad hire But I think he wants someone with more experience. Tom Herman, Scott frost, etc. What about Wyatt as OC??
Strong has his fingerprints all over the defense. Bedford brings familiarity and coaching chemistry with Strong as well as a Texas alum. He's a perfect fit. This is one of those unique situations where the fit is much more important than the sexy pick.Do not want Applewhite around. It's time for him to go and get some experience somewhere else.
I know this will be unpopular, but I am wait and see on Bedford. I think we could do better. He did a pretty bad job at OSU. It may have been talent...I don't know. Strong may really run this defense anyway. If so, then it won't matter.
I was/still am a fan of Claude Mathis.....Thanks Mr Cosell for bringing his name back....Hope it works out for himStrong has his fingerprints all over the defense. Claude Mathis would be a huge hire. He's a guy I touted over Porter. I forgot to put him on my list. It would also give me an IN with the coaching staff, so there's that.
Heck no on Akina. He was great teacher in the pre-spread days, the game has passed him by.This is just my personal opinion, but I think Coach Strong should keep Wyatt, Porter, Akina and maybe Giles. Then bring in Bedford and Moorer from UL, grab Bob Bostad from FA, hit a homerun with Herman or Montgomery. Also find the best TE/ST coach available.
No as well on Wyatt as the primary OC. Really need a OC/QB Coach who can do both really well. Keep Wyatt in same position and allow him to continue to develop is OC knowledge. His primary background is WR coach so gap in QB development. Not a bad hire But I think he wants someone with more experience. Tom Herman, Scott frost, etc.
Not a bad option but I prefer bring back someone else, Tim Brewster. Give him 3 weeks and we will have a better 2014 class.Derek Lewis as a TE coach is something I would like to see.
HELL YES! And coaches with same fire and intensity as Coach Strong! If not Porter...
I would take a look at Desoto HC Claude Mathis
All state running back at Bartlett and played college ball at Texas State
The reasons to have him on staff are obvious and similar to Mack when got Chambers. Knows the landscape of Texas especially the DFW area.
Not true. Wyatt should be retained, he's everything you want your WR coach to be. Porter is also a lights out recruiter so he should try and be retained as well. That's it. The rest of the assistants need to find their next positions. No current coaches need to be retained. We need a clean slate.
