**** #4 Texas goes to Nashville****

I didn't think anyone was surprised by the balk call. I believe that coach Schloss used the time to talk to the home plate ump to allow Cozart to get focused on throwing strikes. I could be wrong, but that's how I took it.

I don't need Cozart making extra innings interesting to get a win.

Glad for the win and the series, but we didn't makeup any ground on the 2 dog teams ahead of us for the regular season title.

Cozart did show that he could throw 30 pitches on Friday or an opening game and come back after a day's rest and throw over 60 pitches to get a win after blowing a lead.

The 5-9 hitters need to help the top 4 hitters, if we want to get to the CWS and possibly the finals.

I didn't like going to Vandy this yr., but now both they and the fake ut have to visit us.

I'll have 1-2 more post on more 2026 signees a little later or in the early morning and more stuff on the final 11 games of the year. We do have 1 more game in April then the final 10 with 7 at home and 1 more trip in May.

Agree, Schloss used that talk wisely. I too wished Cozart would have ended it in the 9th however was happy to see the team overcome blowing a lead and winning a game on the road.

Funny, I thought I heard them say Texas is in the Top 10 or 20 in offense this year but it seems to come like rain during June in Texas. None or barley any at all or flood in a day.
