We're just a hat on the table on this one. He did not visit Texas.

- We are solid at DL in this class, but I am a huge fan of recruits from Louisiana bc the development at the high school level isnt as high as in Texas; so sometimes the ceiling for the kids in Louisiana is pretty high if they are given the resources to stack on top of raw talent

Some time ago 5-star Edge Richard Wesley committed to Oregon over Texas A&M. Back then, aggy mods were confident that it would swing aggy. But Wesley chose Oregon and later switched to Texas.

So then aggy was all-in on 5-star Edge Anthony Jones. And aggy thought they had himi Today he chose Oregon. lol

Ags still got a pretty good class. Better than I would have thought. I guess they got some NIL money too

From Burton today:

"There’s a little positive chatter behind the scenes on recruiting.

Texas is gaining some confidence on a pair of players currently committed elsewhere."

From an insider on another board:

"I heard Julian Sayin would have committed to Texas were it not for Arch. He wanted to come here so bad.

Finley's recruitment is not over. It is expected that the siren song to Austin and Texas' final offer will be enough to tip the scales in Texas' favor.

Kruel will be a Longhorn but will be made to understand that he's going to have to develop for a year or two but that Texas will pay him more for doing so for developing. Texas wants this just to spike the football in Oklahoma's face.

There is one currently committed Longhorn who is shaky not because he doesn't love Sark and wants to come here but is beginning to realize how big of a logjam Texas has at his position."
