Bowman recaps his visit to Texas (247):

“I love it there,” Bowman said. “All the coaches were great, the hospitality from everyone there was great, and the campus is a beautiful place with the city and all that so it was really impressive.”

“A little bit for sure (Austin feels like California), and with them now moving to the SEC you don’t have to live in like Tuscaloosa to go play SEC ball so it’s really nice.”

“Us three tight ends, we went with coach Banks and met,” Bowman said. “He really coaches the tight ends well and shows them how not just to be a blocker but how to catch and how to read the field when you’re moving and just a great coach overall.”

“Then I got to go with Sark one on one with my parents in his office,” Bowman continued. “It was great, he talked to my parents easy cause he’s from the west coast too and his kids go to Mater Dei so it was great and he was easy to talk to.”

“You can notice that they really care and that they want you there and you can notice that they just appreciate you being there.”

“I’ve moved before so it’d be pretty easy especially with all my guys there like Brandon Baker and I know some kids from Colorado too like the tight end Gunnar Helm so yeah I mean it’d be pretty easy.”

“Probably pretty soon (a return trip to Austin), one of my good friends from Denver he goes to IMG Academy (Breck Kolojay) and he might go up there soon so I might go up with him.”
