Flood's stock has dropped considerably in the past year. This year's OL performance was alarming to use your word. And... I heard that Flood wanted to go with the OL we had and not bring in new players from the portal --- against the advice of our GM type people. Sark sided with Flood in the debate.I get it, I'm not saying Cruz was a going to get snaps next year, but it feels they're losing depth and not replacing it with better quality....at least so far.
While we're on the subject, I expected these guys to get developed by Flood since they were recruited by him, but none of these lower star guys have been. This is alarming to me. Either they need better evaluations done on these guys or they need better coaching.
I guess Muschamp really is the Head Coach of the Defense.
"According to Pro Football Focus, Brunner has posted a 63.2 overall grade this season. The Brunner has committed just one penalty all season and allowed eight pressures on 297 pass blocking snaps, with no sacks allowed."
These are more like guidelines.... not rules (Pirates of the Caribbean reference).I guess that only applies to some players?

Texas Longhorns DB Withdraws Name From Transfer Portal, Will Return to Austin
The Texas Longhorns will get one of their experienced defensive backs returning next season after he withdraws from the transfer portalwww.si.com
I don’t think Williams ever officially entered the portal. Just told the staff he planned on it. I know Muschamp asked him to wait before he officially entered and was able to persuade him.
our OL is our achilles healIf they don't replace these guys then Texas is screwed and Flood needs to be let go for making a mess of the OL room. I have to believe they have a plan, I just have to.
I remember this
You've just lost all credibility on this site......just kiddingThis comes from Orangebloods.... the only source of Longhorn football truth. Okay, that may be too much.

Yeah Inside Texas promoted himI thought we loved this kid. I thought Texas kept the players they really wanted?
NoBut do you?

There is just no possible way Flood could think that still going into the 2026 season though. Hell, I don't even know if we still have 10 OL left on the roster to have a 2 deep. Anything less than 2 transfers would be a living nightmare. Should get 4 with all the extra available scholarships.Me
