Honestly, I'm inclined to doubt the Hoover to Indiana move. There are just so many good QBs in the portal right now. I don't think Hoover is in the top 5 or 6

Burton reporting that Gianni Spetic, formerly of Memphis, is likely to be the next kicker for the University of Texas.

Spetic was 15 of 20 in 2025, including 4 of 5 beyond 50 yards.

He was a Lou Groza Award semi finalist in 2025.

Spetic announced his intent to transfer on Dec. 23.

I heard it but not sure there's truth to it.

Thats what we have in the NFL because they are professionala. College kids are kids, trying to develop and achieve a professional level of play in an amateur setting..

This started out as players wanting to be compensated for the use of their name, image and likeness. It was such an innocent request even though there weren't many players having their name, image and likeness used much.

But then it morphed into Jr High professional sports because the innocent request grew into a demand for all players to be paid, regardless if their name, image or likeness ever are used. Now the salaries are up there with the NFL salaries. CFB is paying more for an inferior product.

Maybe your love of this clusterf#ck can somehow make up for my loss of interest.

Too each their own. I love it. This is fun. This is my church so I will be tailgating and at DKR in September like every year. Enjoy whatever new hobby you pick up.
