I believe Hamilton on one of their shows said neither side are talking to each other right now. Could be wrong but I am pretty sure that is what he said the other day.

From Burton today:

OU is also getting hit hard with injuries. The Sooners tabbed transfer wide receiver Deion Burks as out for their game this weekend against Auburn.

Burks led the Sooners with 26 catches on the year. The next highest is Bauer Sharp, a tight end.

OU is now down its top five receivers from pre-season. And receiver, with the likes or Burks and Nick Anderson, was expected to be the offensive's strength headed into the year.

I've heard Terry has been a silent for a while. Sims or Hilson seem to be the general thought on the interwebs. I've also heard Jaylon McCutcheon.

I've heard McCutcheon is a back up plan due to his lack of speed.

There are about a half dozen WRs we're talking to right now. Some are committed to other teams at the moment. Some of those contacted us recently and were not on our radar until now. And there's 5-star Michael Terry, who seems to want to play WR.

I believe Arch has said he plans on staying for 4 years to allow Sark to develop him. That implies he's here for 26. After that between Owens,Lacey and Bell no reason to expect much drop off at QB.

Ryan Williams is a phenom, no doubt.
But Arch can control a game in more ways than Williams.
Arch is the real deal. We are so lucky to have him.
