How are the chances for Texas on this one? At this point I'm not counting anyone a lock for this class.

With that said, get Fasusi, Ffrench, and Locket and this class will be just fine. Also others, but get those 3 to lead the class.
It was really seeming like we were in the lead for a long time but now folks are mentioning OU as a big threat. Would be another tough blow to lose a 5 star that we had the lead on for months and months.

Lockett . . . . a WR who has had Sarkisian and DeBoer pushing for him and instead he chooses to play for Mike Elko. lol

Hamilton likes where we stand with Fasusi. I think he is just going to announce a commitment date.

He's not a lock, but we're in a good spot. I know Bendingbalm or whatever is a good OL coach, but so is Tom Flood.

CJ said yesterday that Okie had slight lead. We are not making a bang our 1st yr in SEC ,at least in recruiting.

How does anybody know we aren't making a bang in recruiting this year? We have a season to play before anyone can sign. Play well like we did last year, and some of those 5 star guys might flip. Mack Brown use to get a top 5 class every year before August. But all those guys didn't pan out. And he missed out on late risers. It seems to me Sark likes to keep some of his powder dry. The sky ain't falling. And especially not 5 months from the signing date. 17 and 18 year olds have been known to take their time and change their minds. You just have to keep pecking away... And pretty soon its December.

I am not a fan of playing from behind. To me its harder to flip a guy than to keep him. I am by no means an expert but just giving an opinion. The real issue I see is that there are time when perception becomes reality. The perception right now is that Longhorn recruiting is faltering. Lets hope that this does not become the reality before the recruiting season ends.

Jaime Ffrench has made plans to visit Georgia the last week of July. Gerry still thinks we're in a good position.
