Hamilton confirmed Cordova and the staff spoke a few days ago, but there aren't many details.

To what extent he is being recruited by the staff is the question, but any report that he's not being recruited by Texas at all is false.

Maybe he has been taking responsibility and doing everything he can to redeem himself. The coaches would need to weigh lots of factors to decide if he is a take, apparently they haven't ruled it out.

He did a pretty awful thing.

It is possible for him to do the work to make things right, take responsibility, apologize and change going forward. If anyone understands that, it is Sark. Sark will also have to be the one to determine how his locker room would feel about having Gus join the team. Is Gus ready to stand in front of the meeting room and tell his new teammates that he is sorry for what he did and that he'd never do something like that again?

Yes, they have. In a police report. In the AAS. And the local TV stations. Also, HS took disciplinary action against him and others.
