2024 Recruiting Board/Thread

Imo, I think Mack and Wilson made Hampton expendable. I still wanted him to be in this class, but the DB haul this year was a plethora of riches for Texas. Two possible day one contributors or two deep guys in Filsaime and Black and three developmental ones in JJR, Mack and Wilson. Hampton would've been a developmental one, imo.
I may be in the minority but I think I'd play him in the slot as a WR. Either way, I'm over the drama there. Tons of upside but too much baggage.

More from this update...

- Evans says he's going to take an official visit to Texas soon if he doesn't sign today

- he said there's a "small" chance he'll sign with A&M today

- recruitment appears to be trending towards Texas regardless

Translation: If Texas won't take my LOI I guess I'll sign with ATM.

Florida fan in absolute recruiting hell right now with this and knowing Napier is a lame duck.

Per 247, Sark called to offer WR Aaron Butler this morning.

Interesting that he waited til now. Wonder if Sark was leaning towards offense for Hampton?

In relation to Hampton or completely separate?
I think it's related to overall numbers, not necessarily position.

Hampton leaving frees up a spot and they were already trying to figure out how to get Butler in the class.
