He's a numbers buster, just sign him.
With NIL, can a player give up their scholarship and keep their NIL to allow another recruit for that year? I'm sure QE is making a lot of money via NIL. The scholarship money is peanuts to him. I don't know how all this works now so just wondering if this is possible/probably.At some point you're going to push a kid out when you don't want to. Especially when it's a numbers game and at some point you will get it wrong.
Sark has stated publicly that if someone comes to him and is thinking about going to the portal, he tells them they should go. He wants players who are committed to the culture and if you have doubts, you aren't committed. I have no problem with this.Proablly 95% of all who enteredthe portal. When he had is one on one talks with them doubt if he beged them to stay.
AgreeThis.
You take every really good player that you can get your hands on and sort it out later. And you don't ever let up on a player as good as Hudson is.
And the negative comments toward Hudson are absolutely crazy.
For sure, there is no one player who is a make or break player for any good team.Agree
With that said, the Horns will be just fine without Hudson. You stay on him until the end, but it isn't a make or break, program changing thing.
TT went all out for him. I personally don't understand why any WR would choose Joey over Sark or TT over Texas or Lubbock over Austin.
Definitely not a receiver, but a QB might. For sure, there is no one player who is a make or break player for any good team.

Agree with both of these. Oh to be a fly on the wall for these conversations. Sometimes we never know who initiated the departure or if it was mutual.Sark has stated publicly that if someone comes to him and is thinking about going to the portal, he tells them they should go. I could see the QB position maybe being a make or break position depending on the talent around him.Definitely not a receiver, but a QB might.
OU last would be a good example.I could see the QB position maybe being a make or break position depending on the talent around him.

This one will be fun to watch.
IT said today Texas is the clear leader, but TFB is hearing he isn't being recruited as hard as other edge prospects so A&M and OU have the lead.
All the ones on that list before Hudson are easier to swallow now based on our QB situations during those lean years. Plus, you factor in Herman (not Stewart) and Strong eras and the turmoil that followed. I 100% agree with you there.Waddle, Johnston, Garrett Wilson, Jackson Smith-Ngiba, Evan Stewart, and possibly Hudson. We have to stop missing on these. But we got Cook last cycle.
I agree, but you misspelled NIL in the last sentence. All the ones on that list before Hudson are easier to swallow now based on our QB situations during those lean years. Plus, you factor in Herman (not Stewart) and Strong eras and the turmoil that followed. I 100% agree with you there.
However, there is nothing you can do about Hudson picking TT over a Ewers/Manning led offense during his time. That my friend is what you call an anomaly.
