IT reported weeks ago that he has moved down in the pecking order, so he has been looking around. They mentioned they may not take his commitment right now.

His attention is elsewhere because it has to be. We have backed off/slow playing, meaning he's a contingency only.

The way Kyle Flood has recruited at OLine and how much the recruits like him, I’ll be good with whatever he decides. He’s recruiting elite guys (ie Banks) and he’s coaching them up and making them better (ie Christian Jones).

A side note on Hudson...247 said he confirmed to them it's his intention to take his recruitment into the fall.

However, IT said today Tech is pursuing very hard and will do everything they can to get him to shut it down next weekend when he's in Lubbock for an official.

IT had an update on OL Nyier Daniels of Oradell, NJ.

He will take an official visit to Rutgers this weekend, Georgia next weekend and then head to Austin on the 23rd.

He remains a Texas lean.

Yeah, you hope that doesn't happen. From the looks of things, it won't. Flood is one coach I believe in on the recruiting trail.

Johnathan Gray’s dad played at Tech and he came to Texas. I’m not saying that’s the case with Hudson. Just throwing it out there.

Nahlin at IT put in a Texas pick of 75% for S Corian Gipson from Lancaster.

Hamilton chimed in and mentioned Gipson canceled his Alabama official for this weekend, but still has Ohio State scheduled for next weekend and Texas after that.

Confidence is supposedly high for the Texas staff right now.
