2024 Recruiting Board/Thread

Yes they offers kids and they would not take their commit. Has always happened.  It also happens they take a commitment and then process them out as well. The only REAL offer goes out later. Only the kids who can really commit get the aka real official offer. The verbal offer is basically useless.
So when each of these recruits Tweet out "I'm so blessed to be offered by the University of Texas" . . it's all a sham and the joke is on them and in reality, they have nothing at all to feel good about?

Yes.

It’s similar to the recruits tweeting “I’m 100% committed to _________” and then a better offer comes along and they tweet “I first want to thank blah blah blah….. with that being said I am decommitting”

It’s just a bunch of drama and lies.

This feels like one we may have a shot at.  Visited for Jr Day and a few teams before.  Gotta' always be weary of LSU though for Louisiana kids.

I know they have helicopters and such to make the process easier but I tip my hat to Sark……….he works his tail off recruiting. Hence the classes he’s brought together so far. I remember reading where Gary Patterson said that he really liked Sark, how organized he was and how hard he works at the craft. I’ll say it again…….if you keep stacking talent like Sark is doing, the wins are going to be there. The portal has helped these lower level teams stay pretty good, but over time the talent is going to win.

Wonder if Sark will go by Bobo and Blair.
But probably not Tenaha. Taking a player from those small schools is a big gamble. No measurable competition. Like Tyrone Swoopes or like Jeremy Patton from Tenaha.

Patton chose BU over Texas in 2021, thank goodness, but now is not even listed on the Baylor roster.

Swoopes was self-inflicted. He never once looked like a QB.

When you see an athlete play football, you can always tell which ones have "it," no matter the classification.

Sark made it to Brownsboro to see WR Gekyle Baker after having to cancel on Tuesday for bad weather.
