Please elaborate on the bite comment, no clue what you mean
Perhaps a reference to an assistant that Saban didn't want to lose... whose pet monkey had a proclivity toward biting small children.

Nope, this is the usual jackass comments regarding Beard biting his ex girlfriend to be fired from HC position at Texas.

Erin Hogan says that he heard CDC was targeting Schloss in the middle of the season. Apparently AD Trev Alberts is having a bit of a rough transition in aggy-land; coaches (Schloss included) did not appreciate his firing a plethora of the support staff.

Keep in mind, the previous aggy AD had finalized a deal with Stoops of Kentucky as the football coach - and aggy-nation simply lost their marbles on social media. The Big Cigars then nixed the deal - and the AD left soon after this public humiliation occurred. Trev Alberts was brought in to replace the AD who had departed to take the AD gig in Miami.

The above paragraph was by memory... I think I'm correct on these details. Point being that some of this may be self-inflicted pain.

One of the dumbest theories that aggy is claiming is that Schloss threw the championship game/series so Texas could stick it to them one more time.

Isn't this kind of Kirk Bohl's job though? He had news and he delivered it.
You are right about this, of course. It's what reporters do. And I was wrong in that it was not Bobby Burton who reported Bohls as the person who leaked the story, but instead it was Erin Hogan of OTF who said that.

It is his job, but his timing was very suspect. Everyone knew (even all of us here) that Pierce was going to be fired. Media folks across the board had very good intel on this, any of them could have broken the news. They didn't, probably out of respect for Texas, CDC and whoever their sources are.

Bohls made the first move and did so while aggy was still playing. It was a disservice to aggy baseball, Schloss and CDC.

The aggy AD went to Ohio State instead of Miami. They’ve lost their AD and best coach to true blue blood programs. Must really boil their blood.

To me he wasn't true Aggie to let money away him.
You really believe it was about money? They fired the baseball teams assistant (the guy who handled things for the team) in a cost cutting move without telling him. You may say that is about money but if they did that to me at my job I'd be looking to leave and say it was about a lack of communication and respect. And another thing: aggys are plain weird. And their uniforms are godawful ugly.

I have Not seen any reaction from Eastexhorn. Would like to know his take on this situation.

I'm of the belief that the timing sucked for everyone but no one did anything wrong.

Bohls did his job of reporting the Pierce firing. It isn't his job to keep things quiet to help out aggy...

Once it was released, Texas was forced to make a statement though it had happened at least a week beforehand. They were trying to wait until after the CWS but couldn't.

Schloss interviewed for better job and promotion while working his current job. We've all done that. And he was in the heat of losing a NC game so he was upset at the question though he didn't really go off on the reporter.

No clue why anyone is upset besides aggys mad their stud coach left for their rival after the best season in history. Which they should be upset but even those clowns should get why its a better job.

They don't. They haven't a clue.
