I kept seeing them say they were having official visitors in July, and thought that was strange because summer officials ended on June 26th.Sounds like aggy screwed up the last week of this month in regards to official visits.
You are being nice by describing Ags as sloppy. They are hypocrites, especially with their so called honor code. A hypocrite is a liar, who makes up rules or first to point out others not falling rules (remember them wanting the SEC punish Saban), only to break the rule or rules when it's too inconvenient for them. Their sense of entitlement is amusing, especially with their history of mediocrity and their biggest tradition of being a lie: The 12th Man. There were 24 players at that game. Here is a link to real story of the origin of The 12th Man:^^^
And this has been the rule since early official visits were allowed a few years ago.
The Ags weren't blindsided by some new rule, they were just being sloppy.
After talking to Toviano, Hamilton said he got the sense that his commitment would be in August, with that season opener being a possibility.Five-star CB Javien Toviano of Arlington Martin told IT today he's closing in on a decision, and his timeline is looking like early August to mid September.
He just so happened to mention playing against Lake Travis on ESPN for the season opener.
He will visit somewhere that last weekend of July, and he's not revealing where, but he did mention the Texas coaches are his best relationships along with being great developers, he believes Texas has the best players in the country and that Arch Madness has been crazy to watch as a recruit.
