As of this morning, the IT mods all have Texas leading for QB Arch Manning and Nahlin has him at 70% to Texas.

Thanks for sharing. I'm sure there is a bit of anxiety by those guys about how bad it would be to miss on this one. Reading the tea leaves, it seems like a pretty certain deal at this point.

MY big question, does he commit this weekend?

Sark and crew need to hit it out of the park this weekend. I have confidence that they will. I think they will be ready to make their final case on why he should be a Longhorn.

Randle is wanting one of those TE spots. I think he saw the TE Spencer Shannon commit and knows that he better get one. I don’t know if he will commit this weekend or not I I doubt his commitment has alot of impact on Manning but it can’t hurt.

Would be nice to grab a commitment this weekend to get the ball rolling for the 2nd half of the summer. The timing would be perfect, and hopefully Sark and staff see it the same way as well.

In my opinion IT is building drama.

Looking at it as objectively as possible I believe Manning will commit to the Horns. Georgia and Smart do not have a good track record with QB’s.

They don’t feature the position in their offense even when they have a star recruit (Justin Fields) and they won’t prepare a QB for the next level.

The only thing Georgia has to offer is a decent shot, most years, at the football playoff. The Mannings know Arch could give any team that chance if he’s the QB.

I’d say our chances of landing Arch are roughly 97%. With Bama having the other 3%.
