IT had a note saying Georgia isn't truly pushing for DT Sydir Mitchell of Oradell, NJ right now despite the run of Georgia crystal balls for him recently.

He will be in Austin soon for an official visit.

Even though this was reported recently, IT had a Georgia source tell them Mitchell is a take for Smart and his staff.

We'll have to wait a little bit to see how his other officials, including Texas, turn out.

IT had an update on QB Arch Manning and it's status quo based on what they're hearing.

Texas leads, Bama isn't seen as a threat and he's close to a decision.

They added these officials don't appear to be super important or providing information he doesn't already know, but rather one last look before a commitment.

I think he's behind Mitchell on the big board, but we need to be making a move here with Mitchell looking unlikely at the moment.  Should know more in a few weeks. 

Samu reminds me of the big NG at Baylor currently.

Shanahan's offer list is definitely better than a 3*/low 4*. Way better.

I think he's pretty good, but a lot of that has to do with his size and passing the eye ball test. But I don't think he's a five-star. He just has everything a 5-star needs or would possess. Looks like Tarzan, plays like Tarzan's distant cousin.

Question, if they believe he is the #1 player in the state and #10 overall; did they take  Herman's evaluating player book back since he isn't coaching in college right now?

Hopefully this means Arch is close to a decision, and IT saying a handful of elite Texas kids think Arch will be a Horn.
