2023 Recruiting Board/Thread

A rather new development to keep an eye on.

IT had an article today on Texas' OL big board going into spring visits, and they didn't have OL Isaiah Robinson of Arlington Lamar listed.

Robinson also hasn't been confirmed for the either of the March 26th or April 2nd weekends.

The priorities in-state were (in alpha order):

Chatman
Cojoe
Reed
Sewell
Shanahan
Stroh

My son sent this to me.  I'm guessing this is a PWO for 2022.  Sorry to post it in here.

I have friends with kids at Vandergrift and they told me about this kid during last season.  He looked really good from what i saw and was pretty damn quick and fast with reportedly great hands and is versatile. You watch, this kid will end up being a walk-on starter before all is said and done.

With all that said, Im hoping this is not one of possible 3 commits.

@TFloss32 Do you think any recruits will pop next weekend or will it be April 2. Listening to IT on Youtube it sounds like at least three players might take the plunge.

Also when the eye emojis hit twitter last evening, IT thought it might be Will Randle. What does that say about the Arch Manning recruitment? ?

What is the reasoning behind this tweet?
DT from TFB (he's a former Longhorn now coaching at DeSoto and writing for TFB). He's saying we have either a commit or portal transfer in the books, just waiting on the announcement. He reported this yesterday and said he wasn't sure about the timing, but its coming.

I posted about this yesterday here with the Brandon Harris tweet with the triple-eyes emojis (3 coming with 1 of the 3 now in the books).

IT posted some recruiting percentages today, but nothing too surprising.

They did have this to say..."Texas has A LOT of 2023 cycle eggs in the Manning basket."

Basically, the entire recruiting narrative changes the moment you lock up Manning.

Playing devil's advocate....what happens if Arch chooses the red team with the Satan corch?

Would it be a hiddenberg disaster or can the class still be good?  Are there any other QB's we could get in on?

The players who would follow Arch to Texas would likely follow him to Bama, if he chose Bama.

It would hurt our class for sure.

A&M loses their stud QB recruit.

Bama wants him, so something to monitor closely.
