2023 Recruiting Board/Thread

This is from a friend of mine here in Lewisville. He posted it on TFB. Since the 2022 thread is now locked, I'm posting it here.

My sons go to Lewisville High School. Armani screwed up with the decommitting at halftime. That really pissed off the UT staff especially Sark. Coach Odle tried to mend the burned bridges. Armani had even brought UT stuff to school for NSD1 because he expected to be accepted back. That is why all the CBs were saying UT that morning. But UT made the decision around lunchtime and told him no. His camp made a mad dash to Rally House to buy bu gear to make it look like they were the choice all along. There have been multiple podcasts with skill coaches in the DFW area saying the same thing.

IT said today they believe QB Arch Manning will take a visit to Texas in late March.

The winter dead period ends on February 28th.

Any one have infro. on TE Jayce Jones 6-6 220 from Silsbee. Has the size and weight.
He is on our prospects list since he picked up a Memphis offer long ago, but haven't seen his name mentioned a lot.

We'll see if he camps anywhere or does any of the combines coming up.

hmmm....just read that Florida is emerging as a dark horse candidate for the Arch Manning sweepstakes. Some say he likes him some Billy Napier....

I saw a poll on Twitter the other day asking where everyone thought Arch Manning would go.  The choices were Texas, Georgia, Alabama, and Ole Miss.

It had over 20,000 votes and Ole Miss came in first, followed by Alabama, followed by Georgia, and Texas got the least amount of votes.

I wouldn’t put any faith in those results as it is just random people voting.  I sure hope this isn’t the case.

The more appropriate title for the survey would be “Where do you wish Arch would go”. I firmly believe if we get Cutcliffe on staff and show significant improvement on the Oline next season we will be the front runner.
Arch Manning starting QB for the Texas Longhorns inaugural season in the SEC. People couldn’t invent a better story.

Yes I don’t put much stock in polls.  Like you said these are just fans that are wishing.  Slow day so I thought I would bring it over for entertainment purposes ??

Those are also people who don't keep up with recruiting.

Gerry Hamilton said Ryan Niblett changed up his top 7 and Texas is included now. He wants to visit this spring. IT still thinks Bama leads.
