2023 Recruiting Board/Thread

Spoke with my friend down at UT today. We had other stuff to talk about so we didn't talk Texas until the end of the call. Said as of now, he does not expect Rueben Owens to be a Horn. UT will continue to recruit him hard, but right now it doesn't look like it will go UT's way.

That said, I think there's plenty of time for things to change.

Any particular reason(s) for that belief? I’d think a stud RB would be excited about the OL haul, early playing time, and reasonably successful development of Rbs by this staff.

That is a bummer.  Doesn't matter that Choice has a good relationship with him? If not, Texas is really gonna have to up the $$$ to compete with ATM.

That is a bummer.  Doesn't matter that Choice has a good relationship with him? If not, Texas is really gonna have to up the $$$ to compete with ATM.
I think there's still plenty of time for Choice to make a difference here. When Drayton left, I'm told Owens kinda became more serious about others.
