Very nice flip this late on a player we were pretty high on early but seemed to be totally out of it after he committed to TCU.

This staff has shown that they keep plugging away at their main targets regardless of commitment status.

CBS should be Watts and Brooks or Holmes. Backed up by Austin or ?

DBS should be greatly improved. Have heard that Holmes might be fastest of the DBS.

Evidently national signing for D1 football begins Wednesday but my understanding is that they can sign anytime through April 1, 2023. But they better not sign on April Fool's day. I'm just saying.

Correct, April 1st is the deadline.

It's rare guys don't sign by the first Wednesday in February, but it happens.

The Horns are still in the conversation and one source even believes it's a Texas/USC battle.

Apparently baseball is still a factor in his decision and he may not sign this week.

Someone on Bobby Burton’s podcast said IF… repeat IF Catalon is healthy, he’s the best player on our defense.  Bobby seemed incredulous, and mentioned Ford…. but his guest dug in and pointed out that Catalon was all conference in the sec as a freshman.

Saw a game in the past year or two when he was healthy. I couldn't help but notice that he was all over the field making plays. Very impressive. Hope he's healthy and can stay that way.

This from Wiltfong:  The latest on Warren Roberson….The four-star safety is a verbal to TCU who over the weekend began trending for Texas while on a visit to Austin. And while he could still end up with the Longhorns, a couple sources Monday night said they could see Roberson ultimately sticking with the Horned Frogs as well.
