2023 Recruiting Board/Thread

@TFloss32With aggy laying an egg yesterday, do you think there is a chance Anthony Hill might flip to Texas especially since the way the Texas D played against Bama?
It's usually a slow burn with things like that before a decision to de-commit, so we'll see where the Ags are a few weeks into conference play.

The difference for Hill right now is there isn't that star power coming in with him (so far) like the '22 class had.

His father was apparently liking some anti-Jimbo and pro-Texas stuff on Twitter this weekend.

On the recruiting end, I haven't seen anything specific other than 247 and IT saying Texas did what it needed to this weekend for WR Jalen Hale and his family, and he had dinner with Worthy at least once.

No word yet on the status of his A&M visit.

Literally all of the quotes from recruits in attendance ranged from the best game they've ever seen, best environment ever, Texas wins if Quinn doesn't get hurt, Sark had a great game plan, defense has improved a lot, etc.

Sunday thots

Ags are staring down the barrel of a 2-7, 3-6 start to the season looking at their upcoming schedule.

With Quinn out for 4-6 weeks, we may not fare a lot better. Hopefully he's back quicker than expected. We need him for the OU game.

Evans will be a Horn next season.

Are the Brocks a take if they hit the portal?

How much does Mathis regret that Nebraska decision now?

The missed safety/sack was big yesterday, but I thought a huge missed call was the no facemask call on Keilan Robinson on the final drive. They pulled his helmet halfway around. That Pfoul would have moved the ball to the 10 with a first down. Instead we had 2nd and 5 at the 20. Bijan gained 1 on 2nd down, then Card got sacked and forced the FG.

Hook 'em and OU still sucks.
I have not watched the replay but I thought the FM on KRob was around the 7 and would have given the Horns a first and goal at about the 3.

As for the Brocks, it may be tough for them to crack the two deep if the current kids continue to develop so that ship may have sailed even if they wanted to come home.jmho

No, the Brocks are not a take.

Mathis could care less. He got his payday.

One thing is certain.  Saturdays game in DKR damn sure didn't hurt recruiting.   The crowd was ridiculous and the atmosphere was absolutely what I thought I would be! Hell of a day, albeit early.

247 mentioned multiple sources said he was there, and he was liking a lot of pro-Texas stuff on social media this weekend.
Seems some of the recruits were more impressed with the Texas performance than some of the Texas fans.
