So is Bryce Young about to join the other Bama players in the portal since they obviously can't win a NC under Saban?lol

Looks like some Arkansas smoke and a little OU smoke around Sanders.  Uugghh, that would stink.

Sounds like our old friend Jalen Milroe may be moving up the depth chart to being an injury away from starting

With top flight guys entering the portal after early signing day it makes it much more difficult for coaches to figure how many spots to leave open to optimal their roster.

It also seems like with the current rules of max 7 extra spots from portal exits that there will be more players entering the portal then there are desirable spots. It will be interesting to see how this process evolves.

It seems to me like with the current rules of max 7 extra spots from the portal, if many teams have more than 7 entering the portal, there will be more players in the portal than there will be spots (desirable or not) to go to. Maybe I'm not seeing this correctly.

I do think that teams could take more than 7 transfers, but it would count against your total count of initial counters.

I think at this point initial counters in any class is capped at 25, plus the 7 extra spots from transfers out = 32 total initial counters a year. I do think teams could hypothetically take fewer HS recruits, say 20, and then take 12 transfers.

I do agree, there will likely be more guys going into the portal than guys finding new homes via the portal. You also have to consider the JUCO guys and grad transfers. For some, going into the portal will be their last move in college sports.

This one may make me eat my words about Sark not taking any TEs. I think if the right player comes along, and Jahleel could be the right player, Sark would take the talent regardless of the position.

Seems like he had some performance and attitude issues this year at Bama, so Sark would have to be pretty confident he could set him straight and get him back on track if he does come.

IT added one small note there is a chance Williams wants to pursue baseball as well.

They believe he was even practicing with OU baseball at one point.
