This years OL haul is impressive. How many of the seven OL we signed play substantial time this next season?
Three during first half of season.

1. Campbell

2. Banks

3. Neto

You may see Agbo and Cam Williams before season's end.

Some of you should understand, these guys are better than what we have on campus. All they need to do is learn. Painful at first, but you're creating a monster in the end.

I think this is where the portal may actually be good for the players. Heck, go wherever you think is best for you out of high school but if you realize the situation isn't ideal, make a move. Some will realize they aren't going to see the field at a power 5 school and maybe need to drop down a classification. Some will have an opportunity for upward mobility (think Isaiah Neyor) to move to a higher profile program or just to make a move to a better roster situation.

Yes, some players will make ill advised moves or lack the patience to see the original plan through - which could possibly benefit them more in the long run. Ultimately, players should have the option to be able to make their own choice about where to play - just like we all have the ability to make our own choice about where we work.
But they only get that choice once, which I think is a smart move on the NCAA's part.

So if you find you're unhappy at your next stop. You better learn to adapt and improvise.

I tend to agree with this. 1 freebie if you make an oopsie or things just don't pan out as expected (or your coach leaves, etc). After being on two campuses, if it still isn't working, changing to a third probably isn't the answer. Beyond that, if you take care of business in the classroom you earn a 2nd free transfer as a grad transfer.

100% agree! We are talking about 17 year olds making these choices. They deserve a little grace and are often fed a ton of lies to get the signature. But after awhile it becomes a trend for the kid.

If your coach leaves everyone should get an extra freebie.

Ok, gents, time to move on so I'll be locking this one.

Please head to the '23 and '24 threads.
