Yea I know.  Every time we got a recruit it was a F-350 according to the ags and everytime the ags get someone its cash bags on door steps. 

If you think for one minute that the public 150k a year to OL was not a major factor in landing the best OL class in a decade, especially after a non bowl qualifying 5 win season as well as a loss to Kansas at DKR, well then I want what youre smoking.  Its been what 9 years since we landed an Allen recruit?  Some WR cant remember his name.  Yea pancakes for everyone.

I will say Flood and Staff have worked hard and im excited about the class.

Best I can figure there is 6 spaces left. Three will be saved for Campbell,  Harris and Stewart.

Other 3 maybe for portal for some instant help in OL andother points of need. At least I hope so.

Where exactly did I claim or give you the impression that I was saying we are only the school that pays for recruits? Never said that in any form.  I have said this many times on this forum.  My father-in-law was a bama booster and has told me many times their players get paid and he has seen it.  Of course it happens.  Even Travis Hunter is rumored to have 1 million NIL offer to go to Jackson State.  

The reason we have sucked for nearly is a decade is the lack of big uglies on both lines.  Its about time they get some.  They did and I personally do not care how they did it.  Without the big guys upfront we will continue to struggle

My nephew, a Sooner fan, has been telling me all day; “Texas has had good classes before”. The issue over the last decade as we are all painfully aware has been development. All the angst about the aggie class makes me wonder just how many of their classes have panned out to their rankings with their perpetual 3rd-4th place finish? Not sure Jimbo has done any better at developing his highly ranked classes than Texas has of late.

Could use a littlemore depth at some positions but are very close atall positions.

This is more true than most of us want to admit. Whatever they do, they do it with UT in the back of their minds. Is this wider than UT's? Is this taller than UT's

Funny story. Back in the 90s when Kyle Field underwent some renovations, they were extending the capacity to like 90K or some such. Several months after their project started, UT began work on DKR expansion which would take our capacity to just above theirs, but a few thousand.

What did aggy do? They went and reduced the width of their seats from 24 inches to 18 inches in order to create more seating than DKR.

No wonder you see so many fat asses standing up the whole game. lol
