Everyone has been gripping about Texas is getting left behind on the NIL,  but I would imagine that CDC has a team research this from every angle.  I don’t picture him as a guy that is going to go off half cocked and just start throwing money around.  He’s also a guy that I see as someone who once he gets a handle on it, then moving forward he will be one of the top players on getting this done.  He’s not a guy that’s going to sit around and get smoked on this.  He’s getting some stuff going now and moving forward we’ll be on top of this.  I’m going to be interested to see how this class finishes out and what Sark does in the portal.  We’re all in agreement that we need to see improvement starting next year.
Yes, there is an NIL compliance department that all of this stuff has to get by before it's announced.

IT saying the in-home visit with Dewberry went about as well as it could've from Texas' perspective.

There's hope Jimbo used his too early, but Dewberry will see both A&M and Texas coaches again this weekend.

Did we kiss and make up with the family? Would like to have seen a parent there throwing up the horn sign.

IT reporting A&M defensive coordinator Mike Elko was not at the in-home visit for CB Denver Harris.

Speculation out there is he is taking the head coaching gig at Duke.

Not sure if its been shared here, but, TFB reporting that Savion Red is being recruited at both WR and RB by Texas.

With his size, it would make sense. Very fluid guy.

Okay, what is the latest on Ewes?

Ha,ha - those who have followed me on IT know my opinion about the kid.

Let me say this right up front - I hope he comes to Texas, he is an exceptional talent and Texas could sure use that at the QB position.

That said, I worry about his willingness to bolt and run, either from ambition or dislike of something.

So, coaches are aggressive and could he get his feelings hurt?  After all the financial deals, will he be satisfied?  What happens if he is pulled from a game for playing poorly?
