I love this.

ALPHA DOG

Maalik Murphy, Gardena (Calif.) Serra, ’22- Yes we know Murphy’s team got bounced early on day two of the Championship round. His body of work wasn’t as big as some of the other quarterbacks but he was the best guy there and it wasn’t close. In terms of his physical tools and how he threw the ball, Murphy was flawless. He led a touchdown drive on every possession he had and probably had more touchdown throws then incomplete passes.

It wasn’t just the efficiency, it was how Murphy threw the ball. This was the guy we had rated a 50 prospect following his freshman year. Unfortunately injuries and Covid haven’t allowed him to do much with the pads on but that arm is special. He has elite arm strength, can change speeds, threw with touch, his timing was excellent, he went through progressions and never looked rattled or flustered. The Texas commit has never looked more confident and for a quarterback, playing with high level confidence is everything.

Per IT, Texas is making a strong push for RB TreVonte' Citizen from Lake Charles, LA.

The competition is Arkansas, LSU and Miss State, with LSU possibly having a small lead.

In watching their Hudl highlights, I think he's the same level as Jamarion Miller. Why not go nab miller now and move on to 2023?

Or even crazier idea, have Drayton then recruit more than just RBs. IDK, just don't think Citizen is better than Miller who has been reported as a Texas lean.

The staff may feel Blue and Miller are redundant, but I agree I'd love to take Miller.
