Chart was very useful to me was not aware it is gone. When new roster comes out you can make your own you are aware of format ruler, pen and paper and a little time. And can be updated more often than ITdid.
Oh yea, On Scout I use to keep spreadsheets and tables for recruiting, rosters, and all kinds of stuff.  I just dont have the passion for it anymore.

FYI, there's a Baylor fan (texasjeremy_Scout) on the WVU BIg12 Conference site that posts a LOT of really good data and stats if you are interested.

forgot to add. It looks like they did away with all their free board material with the change of ownership.  The most useful articles after games, IMO, were coach Venables ratings on the free board. He gave a LOT of objective insight in a nice concise format.

This may be asking too much but a tool I use to use a lot in order see what roster holes are of need is a roster chart.  I use to look at the one posted on IT at least weekly but it looks like they either quit posting it or put it behind the pay wall.  Anyway, I found that chart to be very useful and now it is not accessible without a sub.
You'd have to show me an example of what you're talking about.

There are certain charts/spreadsheets out there that are informative, but I find them to be extremely busy with different colors and sections everywhere.

I usually do a running list by position, and then break it down by class.

On this hard drive, I could only find one example in a quick search...

This is from 2017.  I was using this one to mark off names (in red) and I dont remember why (It looks like to show expected losses/attrition for 2018).  But this format without the red marks.  I would add whatever additional column to the right of the freshman class for recruiting class committed players.  the key is to keep it simple so it can put the classes in perspective with a quick glance

Thanks, I think I can build that in Excel.

yeah, that is a pretty simple table to make.

At this point, I would probably just combine the RB and FB rows.

If you cant tell, the numbers at the top in parentheses are the scholarship numbers for those year groups.... so in this example, there are 76 total scholarships on the roster.  Once you cross off attrition players at the end of the season (Grad/Pro/xfers/medical/disciplinary etc), it's not hard to come up with a swag for how many recruits could be signed.  So, in this example there are 10 seniors + 12 attrition = 22 roster losses.  Roster of 76-22 = 54.  so they could easily have a full class (25) plus some in the 2018 class and still not reach a roster limit of 85 and, in fact, they signed 27 that year.  the conclusion was: 54+27=81 + four transfers (OL Calvin Anderson, RB Tre Watson, OL Jakob Sell, & TE Austin Hibbetts) = 85 for 2018

also, with a quick glance, it's easy to see that going into 2018 they were in dire need of DL and Punter/Kickers.  they ended up signing Coburn & Ossai on DL and Bujcevski & Dicker on ST.

On DT Jaray Bledsoe of Bremond...IT saying Coach Davis' recruiting pitch is being very well received by Bledsoe's mother, and at this time she would prefer that her son stays in-state for school.

That would set up an A&M vs. Texas battle.

His 247  profile says "RB"  haha  He played some RB in high school but I dont think anyone projects him as a RB at the next level

CB/S Austin Jordan (Denton Ryan)

IT mentioned that Texas has Jordan as a safety, and they aren't prioritizing him with Allen, Anderson and Mathews on the board at that position.
