After yesterday if you have a perfect bracket your either from the future or clairvoyant.

I had UK and Iowa in the sweet sixteen.

Lost the Texas pick but I'm OK with that.

I have Tceh, Purdue, Wisconsin and Tennessee for the final four.

Got Tennessee as my champ

Welcome to the blown bracket club. Mine was destroyed on the first day when Kentucky (who I had winning it all) lost.

Shaka was false advertising. We thought we were getting Havoc style of play and he brought the same ole, same ole instead.

That final 4 run he had has really carried him for a decade. Two NCAA tourney wins since that time.

While I think aggy should have made it over Bama (tied in $ec play, aggy had the head to head vs Bama and made it to the final) this speech is way too much and I like Buzz.

Every year there are a couple of decent teams that maybe should haven't have been bumped from the tourney. No system is perfect and it's astronomically unlikely these teams would have made it to the final four. I don't see a problem with a coach saying "We should have made it to the Dance" but to whine about it like he has. That's just too much.

Agree, but he is campaigning for his job. So I suppose now that he's pulled the emotional heart strings, it would be sinful to fire him now. lol

Back when he was in the middle of his monumental losing streak this season, aggy BMDs were ready for a change and made it known. So this is his strategic response to that, IMO.

Still, its whiny baby syndrome and its an awful look.

Alabama spent some time in the top 5 this year. Aggy . . . didn't.

Perception is a big deal for the committee. When you go an entire month without a win, it gets noticed. Your season record becomes lost because your judgement came during that month of losses.

Not to argue with either of you,  but when did Alabama get into the top 5 in basketball. I know Auburn did, but don't see Alabama doing it. Know Alabama at least beat Gonzaga and Baylor and Miami (in the final 16).

I'll concede that Bama had the better non-conference schedule. In your example you state Bama beat Gonzaga. Well Arkansas beat Gonzaga and aggy went 2-1 against Arkansas this year who is in the final 8 (BTW, Bama beat Arkansas by 1 @ home also). They also drummed Auburn (which was key on me having Auburn not going too far) in the $ec tourney. One last note, aggy tied Bama for conference record and beat them head to head. The last time that happened to Texas (think 2008 vs ou), so many Texas fans and the coach brought the head to head results up.
