You really think we're going to dole out $25 million during the Wuhan Virus, with oil down, and restricted ability to make any money on the athletic department?

And that doesn't even consider the amount of money you'll have to spend on Herman's staff as well as hiring the new guy and his staff.

That's just not happening.

That's just not happening.

Probably right but what if he completely loses the team? like Strong did and loses to Kansas? I don't know if they will lose to Kansas but this team is not playing to their talent at all and so nothing can be discounted. Iowa st, Kansas st, OSU and OU all look considerably stronger than UT...if they lose those 4, they will be 5-5 on the season. I don't see Bijan Robinson staying after this year, or Jake Smith. Herman already cant develop talent that is considerably better than the rest of the big XII, i cant imagine how much worse it would get if his classes dip below top 25.

I honestly don't know if Herman could win the big XII with a team full of all pros from the NFL.

They're not and that's the rub. It is becoming very obvious that coaching is lacking on this team. The logic they use for substitutions is beyond me. We will never have a dominant RB unless they allow someone to get in a groove. That can't happen when they are changing out every three plays or so.

Of course not. Texas athletics is a giant f##king scam and we're all marks.  Most overrated in the country. There is a reason we only have 7 conference champships in 40 years or so.

1983 was the best defense in the history of college football.  I believe they had 13 defensive players drafted.... gave up 9 points per game.   

Didn’t win a natty because of a fumbled punt.  Georgia beat them in the Cotton bowl 10-9 having crossed the 50 3 times or some such thing.
