5. We dont go by stars, Jimbo goes after talent (apparently no1 else knows about)

Lol.... very true.  

I think every group rationalizes a bit.   We dabbled with #5 some during the Strong years.  But they have embraced these to a high comedic level.

This is good, but let me add 3 more that I've seen on a regular basis lately.

1.  Don't care, got Jimbo.

2.  Trust in Jimbo.

3.  Aggy practices are hard and some recruits just aren't cut out for it and would rather go to Texas where things are easier.

You forgot the BDF is "soft" and the kid didn't want to work hard enough to succeed in the greatest-CFB-conference-in-the-history-of-ever SEC. Hermensa and ATX are a country club atmosphere.
