I hope it isn’t Ehlinger related....
Couple players missing 1st Quarter due to being late to practice. Names I read was Boyd and Davis. A little Anothony Cook starting out I’m betting

If by Boyd and Davis you mean BOTH starting corners.... I’d say that is REALLY bad news.

I like it a lot. Let me explain...

I hate that our starting corners will be out, but I think the team will step up and overcome it. Herman is not going to let them get comfortable and this will give them focus. Secondly, and most importantly, he is not backing down from his standards and building a strong foundation, unlike what's happening at tcu. Patterson's win at all cost mentality is coming back to bite him in the ass.

What you really ment to say is they wont miss a beat and another team will score on their first drive.

Also seems like a great opportunity to give next year's corners some butterfly-stomach / starting-on-the-road live action without too much risk. Knock on wood.

I hope this isn’t a reflection on how serious the team is taking OSU?  I was thinking the harsh punishment might be the coach trying to catch their attention.

I know, back to recruiting...

Since we were lucky to escape Tulsa at home with a W, I’d call OSU without starting corners “high risk.”  But it will be good actual game experience.

I really think this is the OLines time to step up and go win the game. No stupid holding calls. No blown assignments on 3rd and short and we win this regardless of who plays corner.

Asking this OL to refrain from holding penalties is like asking water to not be wet.
