EJ hinting that WR commit Houston is one to watch.  Says WR numbers are getting tight. I'm not sure if he means Texas is going to let him go or if Houston does not like the numbers.
I've been thinking this recently with the WR development if he'd stick or be let go.

Either way it wouldn't be too unexpected. With Kennedy Lewis and Marcus Washington trending towards Texas, that would be 5 WRs, plus 2 potential ATHs that could end up at WR (Powell and Bru). That's awfully crowded, especially after taking 4 guys last year who are currently at WR and were all in the top 115 nationally.

That's who I was thinking as well. But there's another one that I'm thinking of in fact three I'm thinking. Chris Ivory, Shawn Birdsong, Josh Scobee. Malcolm Kelly. Lol Even though I'm from Gilmer but I do keep up with other East Texas guys
What about Don Manasco [spelling]

It is pretty well documented that Sanders parents want him to stay close to home. Texas has been trying to overcome that for months and apparently they have made zero progress. Mike Roach put his CB for Bama yesterday. IT has made comments as well. So like I said I take all info and make an educated guess. IMO Saban is getting a good one. He could still pick the Gators but as of today I do not like our chances.
We're leading. All they're doing is making guesses off assumptions – or educated guesses as you say. I think it would be wrong to think mom and dad have all the say.

Roach, who has tons of credibility, gives me pause. But he's with 24/7 not IT. I'm just saying they're all getting way ahead of themselves if they're making the call right now.

IMHO

I haven't noticed that any site can really lay claim to getting it right more than any other site. And that's because they rarely make definitive statements. They know how to say everything so no matter what happens they can claim they were right. Been reading all these sites for years now and it was that way then and it's still that way.

Hell, if you read and pay attention to what Daniel says on here, he's probably on target as much or more than anyone. He's just not constantly throwing stuff out to see if it will stick on the wall. If he throws something out there you can almost guarantee that it will stick.

You should probably pay more attention to TFB then.

The "definitive statements" they used were direct quotes from the father of Bru McCoy. It was a good interview overall and certainly glowing in terms of Texas.

There is a difference is providing the words from the horse's mouth as opposed to adding things up in your head and coming up with a statement of guess.

Yes, Daniel is good. Daniel is wise.

Isn't Bru an early enrollee candidate? Or is he down the road supposed to plan on doing early enrollment? Or am I wrong?
Yes, that is one reason why the decision is coming right after the OU visit.

Eric, Justin, Cook, Scipio etc all do an excellent job at IT as well.

I hear a little from Eric and Justin. Have no idea who Cook is. Scipio is a creative writer and does well with the stuff I normally don't bother to read i.e. schemes, tendencies of the game. My mind is more interested in the recruiting.

Believe it or not, we'll be thin at WR in the near future. Should CJ and LJ opt for the draft, then we're really in deep do-do.

We need the numbers. Don't blink. Powell wants to come as a QB and TH has already okayed that. Bru can do whatever he wants but he looks awesome at WR.

Scuttle I'm hearing is Woodard is doing some nice things in practice this season. Thats promising. I hear our Z needs some time and seasoning.

Have not heard anything regarding our Millwood star. It would have to be a numbers thing on his end. Can't see TH running him or anyone off, letting that be used against him by those out there who live each day to do such things.

Appreciate that, NTG.
