2019 Recruiting Board/Thread

Keep winning and the coaches will have to tell some recruits no.
If we keep winning and end up where I think we can it's going to be interesting how the rest of the class fills out.  Like you said, I think some kids will ne told no.

Got off the phone with my friend who finally called me back.

The stuff regarding McCoy and Sanders - it's real. He said whole staff is tantalized by the idea of these two in our offense. He wouldn't go as far as saying they're going to commit, but he did say that we could not be in a better position for either of the two. The only real issue is time – such as what goes down in the way of visits, impressions, etc., between now and the 1st NSD.

That blew me away.

Elsewhere, he said that staff thinks the Wilson recruitment just got some new life. Nothing eminent or even close, but for the first time they think they've got him re-thinking his destination. He said we'd take him no matter the numbers, we'd find a way. I'll take it.

He said Cine is going to announce, but it won't be Texas. They feel good about Owens.

For the record, if you're in DFW and would like to see a dandy game with some big names – see Allen vs Plano East this Friday. Owens will be playing and will go against Theo Weise. Should be a dandy.

I asked about Washington. He said "any day now."

I asked about recruiting picking up after the OU win, . . "most definitely. But its really just started. This is only Monday."

There ya go.

Some of the boards are saying Tuitele is taking notice.

USC boards seem to be losing confidence in McCoy

Recruiting is about to be really fun going forward.

When we go 11-1 we will then land everyone. What I am encouraged about the most is that we have a lot of talent returning next season and redshirting.

We have to keep developing  our trenchmen, it is the identity and future of our program.

This seasons results is due to a decent OL.

If Tuitele takes an OV things could interesting, but the smart money is him staying on the West Coast.

There is some legit optimism with McCoy. Have to keep winning though and continue to build a case. Won’t hurt if USC continues to struggle.
