Had a great time. They made a very good impression on him and sold him on how they'd use him in the slot. He grew up a USC fan so this was a big deal for him.

I don't think they pulled even with us, but they made up some ground in a big way. 

We'll need to show him his best visit yet to make this happen. IMO, Herman will do just that.

Has there been any word on Jake Smith’s OV to usc?

There's a poster on IT who lives in AZ and kinda knows Jake's mom through the real estate industry.  Anyway, the poster simply said to listen to the IT Mods on this one, and those mods continue to echo Daniel's sentiments that we look good here.

OMG, please let this one happen.  I know Alabama is the favorite as of now, but hopefully he sees an opportunity in the middle of the DL.  Texas has to win this year, plain and simple.  Not saying it will get him, but it's a better narrative than what UT has had the past 6 years.
