Is their some kind of connection with Gainer or is he just someone the staff identified as a top target?
No connection from what I understand. They are casting a wide net at LB with instate crop being weak.Is their some kind of connection with Gainer or is he just someone the staff identified as a top target?
He's a stud, but I still think it's going to be Oklahoma.Ron tatum twitter recent followers/following are all texas coaches/recruits.
Man i would love to get him. Herman would give a death blow to stoops.
Does he have a Texas offer? I guess I missed it.Cuero TE Bralen Taylor names Texas in his Top 4

He definitely does. Texas would be in a strong position if they put an offer on the table.I guess he wants an offer.
His biggest mistake was letting Venables go by making his brother Co-Defensive Coordinator. Venables is a legit top 5 DC in the countryHerman is going to help Stoops get fired. Herman is so today and Stoops is just so not. Beat Stoops on the field and in February and its over for the chin man.
It's remarkable, too. Stoops has all those titles to point to, all he needs is some digital finesse (don't be stressin, be finessin) like we've just recently got and maybe he can hire some mensa guy to be his personal assistant or something.
For the first time in a long time, I'm hearing what I've been knowing all my life. Norman is a shithole place to find yourself. Its a place you just want to drive through and maybe pick up some gas but nothing more.
Austin, OTOH, is a modern city rich with culture, history and is a place where you can feel you're in the middle of it all. In Norman, you're always out in the pasture, so to speak.
Stoops' downfall, IMO, will be his loyalty to his brother. No likey Mikey. He's clearly lost his defensive edge that he once had and players aren't relating to him like they once did. And Bob won't part with him. OU won a game last year where they gave up 60+ points. smh
