This wouldn't seem to indicate good news for Reese Leitao's chances of making it to Austin.

SignUp Now!Tom knows how to play the game so I'm not sure 25, or close to it, isn't out of the question.Between Leitao more than likely not making and Herman more than likely telling a handful of current players that they wont ever play here that will probably transfer out the 2018 class will easily fit in 20 or so by the time fall camp 2018 rolls around.

You're correct. I was reading on my phone and obviously I am going blind... B)Daniel said "wouldn't seem to indicate good news" which is a long way of saying "this is ain't good."
He's top back in the state for myself and many others. Texas hasn't back off recruiting him, but word thru the grapevine is that he is keeping a keen eye on the offers going out OOS backs.Anybody got any news on Keontay Ingram? I hate to miss on this guy. I think he could be underrated. Makes a lot of his yards between the tackles. Nobody seems to ever get a clean shot on him and he can make people miss in a phone booth. Reminds me a little of Emmitt. Unsubstantiated rumor is we have backed off on his recruitment. I trust Herman/Drayton in their ability to project him to college game, but I really like his film. Of course nobody has ever offered me money to evaluate talent!

Something else to keep in mind is that Urban Meyer is personally recruiting this kid. He's in high demand.
Thanks Daniel. Im glad to know we are still after him but had no idea he was being recruited so heavily. He seems to have that vision and feel for finding creases that you can't teach. Not impressed at all with Alabama kid Joiner. California kid I like better but still prefer Ingram. Hope Sirhorsalot is right about Meyer over reaching but hate to go head to head with Ohio State. I think his opportunity for success is much greater at Texas than up north. He's top back in the state for myself and many others. Buddy of mine who hails from Birmingham and is familiar with Joiner shared the same opinion. Thinks he is overrated and not a natural runner. Thanks Daniel. I hope you're right SHA, but I can't ever count out Urban after this past cycle.Surely he has to understand that Texas has to have contingency plans. Texas could have had the Cal RB if they wanted him over the weekend. I think that says, or should say, a lot to Mr. Keontay.
ET kids don't normally like to stray far from home and they even more often dislike northern climate. I could be wrong but Coach Meyer is climbing a wall thats too tall for even him.
Still stings seeing all that Texas talent leave the state. Especially when we had a shot at a few of them. Maybe Herman can put a stop to this nonsense.Buddy of mine who hails from Birmingham and is familiar with Joiner shared the same opinion. Thinks he is overrated and not a natural runner.
Ohio State is going to be a thorn after the swooped in got guys like Browning, Dobbins (who is likely to contribute this fall), and Okudah. Have to the lock down the borders and keep elite players home.
Not going to lie. Browning and Dobbins leaving the state is going to sting for awhile. Two great kids who are no doubt going to be studs in my mind.Still stings seeing all that Texas talent leave the state. Especially when we had a shot at a few of them.

Another site something about being his 3rd school in 3 years. Hope we don't have another Devo situation where this affects him being able to get admitted to Texas.
Was thinking the same thing. Hopefully there aren't any issues down the road.Another site something about being his 3rd school in 3 years. Hope we don't have another Devo situation where this affects him being able to get admitted to Texas.
