a OT recruit will def know the opportunity for immediate playing time is there.... That will go a long ways. Young and also plagued with injury right now :wacko:

Speaking of Hines. Texas and Todd Orlando just offered him as a defensive lineman.

First thing that jumps off to me is how he just started walking in the first clip. He may want to cut that part out of his highlights.

I thought the exact same thing. He seemed lazy/bored. And he will def have to trim up. That clip didn't do anything for me but I do bet he is a badass

– Chasen Hines: An interesting offer went out this morning, to a recruit who already held a Texas offer. Marshall (TX) LSU OG commit Chasen Hines. But he was offered as a defensive tackle.
Something that makes this a little more interesting, is that Hines told me this morning that he’d prefer to play DT in college over OG. And the only other school that has offered him at that spot is TCU. When I asked him if he plans to take visits to Austin and Fort Worth he told me,”I’m still talking to LSU about that.” They have been very firm with him about not taking visits. And I was also told his mother is someone who has been pushing to not take other visits. We’ll see if that changes, but I spoke to someone on the TCU side and they’re working to get him on campus soon.
One thing to keep in mind with LSU is that they already hold three 2018 DT commitments, so will they offer Hines at DT? I’m facsinated by his want to play DT at the next level. He’s around 6’2 325 right now, but has some explosion. And we know Texas can sell him on playing time at DT. – (Andrew)
– Anthony Cook: As you know, 5-star CB Anthony Cook is officially visiting Texas this weekend. He is down to Texas, Ohio State, and LSU. K, Will, and myself have all mentioned that Texas has seemed to regain some steam with Cook after it seemed he was pretty much Ohio State bound.
I won’t say Texas leads for Cook right now but I spoke to someone who actually talked with Cook this morning and was told “Texas has some great momentum right now, he has been really impressed with the performances on the defensive side of the ball during the last three games.” I was told his mother and his step father will be the ones to accompany him on his visit this weekend. – (Andrew)
– D’Shawn Jamison: As most know, Hou. Lamar (TX) CB D’Shawn Jamison plans to make his commitment on October 14th. Right now he’s pretty much down to Texas, TCU, and Oregon. I was told that Jamison doesn’t plan to use any of his official visits before he makes his commitment.
We are starting to get word that Jamison’s commitment date could get pushed back a bit. We’ll have more on this later. – (Andrew)
– Big Staff Visits Today: A couple of big time staff visits are expected to go down tonight.
Ronnie Perkins: We are told that Texas is expected to visit 2018 DL target, Ronnie Perkins (St. Louis, MO).
Bobby Brown: We are also told that the Texas chopper is expected to fly to Arlington tonight and it’ll be carrying Tom Herman who will be at Bobby Brown’s game. The Sooners are sending Lincoln Riley. I do believe Texas is in his top four but they’ve got to make up some ground on Bama and OU in order to win Brown’s committment. It sounds like that’s what they are trying to do. – (Super K)

LSU is losing to Troy and its ugly. Its not like I'm sitting here just hoping the clock runs out. Troy is about to score again and LSU's offense should be against the law its so ugly.
